Wow--talk about a variety of foods from the buffet, which changed daily, offering everything from Mexican/Guatemalan to American to Italian food nights. Desserts were always a real show-stopper (I suspect mainly of French influence, with a huge variety of cakes, pies, and pastries, always offering that wonderful South American ice cream). Decor was done to match the buffet. On the nights with no buffet, the menu offered fine dining with wonderful appetizers like white asparagus, ceviche, seafoods, avocado, and shrimp dishes, leading up to dinners of veal, steak, chicken, and to-die-for fish dishes. The coffee was really something--when we ordered coffee, we would hear the steam flowing as our cup of java was individually ground and made! The staff was absolutely fantastic--always eager to get whatever our hearts desired, even if it was exactly on the menu!
