Any plate is prepared in detail with a homelike flavor. Service is average to slow. The surroundings give the impression of a country inn. Duck is well prepared and desserts are good. Wine list is not impressive.

Forget your diet when you visit Le Provencal. This restaurant is known of its old style French cooking. Yes, heavily sauced and creamed but oh so good. The escargot has to be one of my favorites, as is the bouillabaisse. I usually have those two dishes and not much more! Okay, add some slices of excellent bread and I’m done. Wait, I forgot, dessert. See, no dieting allowed here. You won’t be sorry you indulged one day at Le Provencal.
