Siam Orchid Thai and Sushi

Siam Orchid is open all year, 7 days a week, and that is a good thing because you can't go too long without Thai food. This restaurant is one of the best in town, serving great food, including sushi, by freindly proffesional employees who actually remember your name when you go back. The owner and head chef, Hatsana, has a great personality and really makes you feel wlcome, as does his right hand man, Manonh, who works his magic in the kitchen every day. The sushi is fresh and delicious, beautifully presented, reasonably priced, and like everything else, served with a smile. And last, but definitely not least, you won't find a better iced coffee anywhere on the planet! Enjoy!

This is a very small restauarant aptly described by the hotel staff as a "hole in the wall". It is the other Thai restaurant in the village when the first one is busy. It had apparently recently changed. There is no wait staff. You get your own utensils and eat with plastic utensils off paper plates. The portions were smaller than normal for Thai restaurants and eating off paper plates ruined it for us.
