The food and drinks are nothing special, but the atmosphere in the old-fashioned saloon harks back to the Gold Rush era and provides a welcome respite to cruise ship buffet lines. The live music had the large tourist crowd singing along and smiling a great deal.

Red Dog Saloon

This place still looks like it did years & years ago. The floor is covered with sawdust & the walls are plastered with life preservers from old boats. Try one of their burgers - fries aren't included but you won't need them anyway because the hamburger & bun are the size of a dinner plate. It's a loud, fun place to spend a few hours. There is a small store next door that sells Red Dog souvenirs - everything from glasses to suspenders to undies - all with the Red Dog logo.
