French Quarter Buffet

The buffet was $23 per person for dinner, but the hotel gave us $5-off coupons (each) for being guests. The buffet was the most enormous one I have ever seen! It offered everything from vegetarian entrées to Oriental food, Italian food, and American staples like pizza and mashed potatoes. They had the best fried chicken I have ever tasted! We even went back the next day for lunch. The lunch price was $18, but again, we had the $5 coupons. The only complaint I have is that they had all the same foods for lunch as they had for dinner.

The Virginia City Buffet at Bally's Wild Wild West Casino. You can start with the salad bar's peel-and-eat shrimp and soups. Then move onto the entrees, which include Rib Eye Steak cooked to your liking, freshly carved ham, along with other selections. You have choice of potatoes, baked, garlic mashed, vegetables, rolls and bread. Top it off with a very tempting dessert bar including pies, ice cream, assorted tortes, and cakes. It was well worth the money.

The French Quarter Buffet at the Showboat Casino. A wide variety of salads, main course, and desserts. Set up to make it easily accessible. Wide selection of entrees and a very tempting dessert table. Atmosphere made you feel like you were dining in the French Quarter.

I have enjoyed the bill of fare at many of the casinos. I enjoy the sit-down arrangement they offer at their buffets and the food is top notch. There is something for everyone and you don't have to be a millionaire to eat like one. Most of the time, if you gamble, you will get a "COMP" for part of or all of your meal.
