The Muddy Moose in downtown North Conway is about 10 minutes from the resort. The service was great with good selection of food. There were four of us dinning and each one of us ordered something different to eat. At the end of our dinner, we all commented on how great the food tasted. The waiter was nice and the decor definitely fit the area.

Very busy, but try it, it's worth the experience....but either check it out on a weekday or make reservations if accepted, especially with small children.

The Muddy Moose is a local restaurant with a full bar and a hunting lodge feel to it. It offers a little of everything, including salmon, chicken, buffalo burgers, steak, and my husband's favorite: BBQ ribs. The portions are large, especially the kids’ meals. Two younger kids can split a meal and still have plenty left over.

The staff is very friendly. We went to this restaurant a couple of times during our stay. We paid about $80 plus tip for four adults and a child.

This was a great place with homemade potatoes. The fish was great and fresh. The place looked like a small home with the family serving.

Very good service and food. Very friendly and nice, but very slow and hard to get in on the weekends. If it's the weekend, you want to go make reservations because this restaurant is very difficult to get a seat. It's a very popular resort for the area and, eating there, I can see why, too - it was very affordable and very good food.
