Westin La Cantera Resort

We were greated with a warm, friendly smile. My husband and I sat in the back and enjoyed watching people come in. The waitress asked if we were honeymooners--we laughed and pretended we were. She told my husband that he should try a margarita--which he gladly did. Then we shared some nachos, and their queso was to-die-for. We just kept drinking and snacking on nachos until we realized that we were too full to actually have a meal--"No worries," said the waitress "... but can I tempt you with some dessert?" Sopapillas it was... along with some of the greatest coffee we'd ever had.

Westin La Cantera Resort

This is a great experience, if not strictly Texan. The service is out of this world. This is a beautiful resort. I wouldn't leave the River Walk to go out to the Westin to eat, but if you are staying there, it is great.

From journal San Antonio, the Best of Texas--wonderful!
