I had chicken fajitas that were great and they could feed more than one person. My husband had a club sandwich that was great and came with a mound of fries. Our son had a burger and fries that were very good, too. None of us could finish our meal. We will stop there again when we return. There’s a bar area and family dining.

Route 66 Roadhouse

We stopped in here on our way out of Gatlinburg for lunch. It is located on Route 66, right next to the Clarion Inn Willow River Hotel.

The restaurant has a road side theme, with old signs hanging all around the restaurant. There was an old Gulf gas station sign hanging on the wall across from our table that had a couple bullet holes in it!!

The menu is your classic American dinner--burgers, salads, chili, and stuff like that. Most of the items have names that go along with the roadside theme. We both had the Roadmaster burger, which is just another name for a bacon cheeseburger. These burgers were huge and there was a giant pile of fries to go along with it. You will not leave hungry! All the food was prepared as we ordered and was very good.

I saw them bring out some type of salad to a lady and it was huge. I thought the ladies jaw was going to hit the floor when the waitress put it down in front of her.

The service was very good. They where quick to bring drink refills and anything else we needed. We stopped in at lunch time on a weekday, and there was no wait for a table.
