The Owl Bar is located in the Belvedere Hotel. This Bar is a Baltimore landmark and is a fun restaraunt. On Thursday evenings, the Bar truly does have a Pub/Bar atmosphere with an eclectic mix of people, professionals just off work, students from the nearby Johns Hopkins University Campus, stylish retirees. I would recommend this as a lunch place though (or nice dinner before the bar crowd rush). The tall ceilings accent an old boy's club type of atmosphere that includes stuffed animal heads on the walls. there are two stuffed owls above the bar with glass eyes that watch you as you eat and give the bar it's name. Also in the dining room is a wood burning oven where fantastic pizzas are baked right before you.
It is truly a step above atmosphere with something for everyone including great resonably priced food.
