Description: Maybe they were having an off night, because this restaurant received fairly high marks from other guests.
I'll start first with the positive. The restaurant had a list of 40 wines under $40, which was great idea for dinner. The service initially started off fine, but really tailed off after we ordered our mains. I had steak, which was very good, but surrounded by boring sides. Another person ordered elk loin which I'm not an expert on--I know it's lean but I doubt that it's meant to be bland. The third person in the group ordered tagliatelle puttansesca and her comment, "I could have made that at home". After we received our mains, our table was basically ignored. Uninspired food and service borderline 2.5 stars
