Hubby and I dined lavishly on Oysters Florentine and Lobster Ravioli, for appteizers. My oysters were perfectly tender with nicely seasoned spinach. The ravioli was finished with a champagne-lobster sauce that intensified the great lobster flavor. Hubby went with a cream of wild mushroom soup (the mushrooms truly tasted wild..lots of flavor) but he would have liked it heated a little more.
For entree I Selected a trio of seared sea bass, swordfish and jumbo shrimp in a saffron broth. Mine was done the way I like it but you can request varying degrees of "searedness". My partner ordered a veal chop with baby artichokes, fresh peas and red wine reduction. It was a masterpiece and the piece I tasted was great. Unfortunately, at this point I couldnt even think about dessert but their selection was tempting. The wine list provided some reasonable accompaniments and service was attentive yet unobtrusive. This is a special place for a romantic night on the town.
