We booked in for a meal one night and loved both the food and the atmosphere so much that we returned for a second meal. The food was excellent and the service was fast and efficient. Both my wife and I had the Beach and Bay Scotch Fillet at $18.50 (...and we came back for more of the same a couple of nights later!). Both times we sat in the outside area, which provided a view of the beach and the cool sea breeze. It also provided an escape from the cigarette smoke wafting into the dining area from the bar and Pokies areas. Booking was essential, but even so, the service was excellent, with a paging system to notify diners that their meal was ready. For those who did not book, the service was quick enough to ensure a reasonable turnover if you weren’t too fussed about whether you had a table inside or under the open veranda area. Range of prices of main meals was $11.00 to $20.50, with a children’s meal for $4.95.
There were a number of families enjoying a meal while we were there. The prices were reasonable, the food was excellent and children were well looked after (staff came around with colouring books to keep the kids entertained).
