Description: Falafel is located in a little street that was once one of the liveliest entertainment streets of Budapest, near Oktogon and just behind Liszt Ferenc ter. You can easily tailor your sightseeing route to include Falafel in the middle of the day for a cheap but filling meal. It’s a tiny shop, so there are only a few seats with small tables, so it’s not suitable for large groups, and is frequently full at lunch time. They do take-away though if you can’t find a seat.
Falafel is a tiny buffet restaurant best for quick lunches. You probably guessed from its name, the main attraction is its Falafel, served with pita and your choice of a bowl of the many kinds of vegetables displayed on the counter. They also have desserts, and shakes to go with your falafel. A complete meal is around 800 HUF (around $2.50), making it not just a fun place, but a bargain too.
