Bad Restaurant

I've once been there. It's not a recommended place. They showed many ads downstairs to attract people with special price like HKG$ 20.- up but when I arrived, I found only much more expensive menu.

On the table, staff will put so many things for you for example nuts, hot tea pots, cool towel, BUT THEY CHARGE ALL!!! Even though you don't take any, you have to pay. They have an excuse that it's the custom of the restaurant, but actually it's a tricky way to make more money. They are stingy and tricky. The staff speak only cantonese to foreigners even though we told them that we don't understand. They still insisted to speak their language. The manager speaks English like broken English and not polite with customers. I must say that they are so rude and no manner.

The taste of the food is also horrible. I ate only 1/4 of the plate. It was tasteless! Not worthwhile the price they charged us.

In brief, I don't recommend this restaurant. In Hong Kong or Macau, if you want a clean food with good taste, better eat in a hotel or buy something from 7-11.

This is a good dim sum place that was recommended by a hotel staff member.

We were seated right away, even though we didn’t have a reservation for this fairly busy place. There are 100 items you check off of a list, but it's all in Chinese. There's a 35-item limited version in English. Item #15 off the English menu, baked turnip rolls, were the best of all the items we ordered, and item #28, mango pudding, was also excellent.

We were curious about this place, as our hotel was right across the street from it. There's a window here facing the street, and we saw different people at this window at different times of the day and wondered what was over here.

Hours: 7am-1am

Credit cards are accepted with a minimum of HK$150 (US$19.23)
