Lady Chef Flora Mikula cooks up a delicious taste of Provence (Southern France). Provencal type food has a heavy Mediterranean influence on it. Olive oil, tomatoes, garlic, olive pastes, truffles, fish, lamb, basil, fennel, rosemary, thyme, chick peas, pine nuts, etc. are common ingredients. The menu changes every month ( I believe or maybe every couple of months).
I've been there several times because I used to always take my out of town guests there for dinner and everything I've tried was truly amazing and so tasty. For the big eaters out there, there is special 'menu degustation' where the Chef chooses a couple of appetizers, main courses and desserts for you to try. This is the best way to sample many different dishes, but come with an appetite.
As for the ambiance, it is a simple restaurant with little Provencal knick-knacks hanging everywhere. It's a laid back atmosphere with many locals, as well as American tourists. It is off the beaten path though, so you won't find your typical tourists here. Be sure to reserve because the place is very small.
