Excellent food. Great view. We had a window seat that had a great view of the river Seine. Reservations are a must in May. We had a fix Price Lunch for $40 (US) each. It included three courses (appetizer, entree, and dessert, as well as a cheese plate). We had a bottle of Cabernet from the Rhone Valley with our meal. A meal in this restaurant from the Eiffel Tower was one of the highlights of our trip. I highly recommend it as a very romantic experience for an anniversary couple like ourselves.

This is the restaurant where we ate on the Eiffel Tower, level 1. The view is great and the atmosphere is that of a contemporary American style, with the beams of the Eiffel Tower rising everywhere within the restaurant to create a uniquely industrial feel to the place. We opted to go for the dinner special (50€ each), which included an appetizer, entrée, and dessert. I highly recommend getting the sea food platter as it is quite a plate full of sea food, as well as snails, to satisfy anyone's appetite.

However, aside from the superb location, I would say the food is just alright, even pricy. But hey, you are eating in the Eiffel Tower and food might not be the reason you are eating here, right?

With that said, the view is INCREDIBLE. I sat facing north/northwest and could see down to the Trocadero, and then, all the way to La Defense. That, and the experience itself, is definitely worth the price we shelled out. The next time I am in France, I am going to try another one of the restaurants inside the Eiffel Tower.

Set on the Eiffel tower at 95 Meter mark is the restaurant. We had to take the opportunity to dine on the Eiffel Tower. Though the food wasn’t anything memorable, the experience of eating on the Eiffel Tower was.

We had a great view from our window side seat in the restaurant. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very good and the service was very attentive. The food probably had the least amount of appeal to me than most of the other places we ate at in Paris.

Though reservations were required we were able to get a reservation only a few hours before dinner with out a problem.

I understand the Poseidon restaurant at the top of the tower is much nicer and has better food. However, it was much tougher to get a reservation there and was more pricey.
