Description: Ah, Paris. Where romantic lamplit bridges span blackjack tables and 'champange slots.' After strolling around in the permanent lavender twilight, you may suddenly be greeted with a friendly 'Bonjourhello!' from a waitress at Le Cafe. 'Fumer ou non fumer?' she chirps pleasantly, and before you can feel clever by answering in your high school French, the beaming lass translates: 'Smoking or non-smoking?' This bizarre double-speak continues until the meal is half over, at which point either her French runs out or she gets sick of it, and starts speaking good ole fashioned anglais. My Caesar salad (not exactly a French staple, but let me not be 'un snob') was tasty enough, and the sandwiches were very reasonably priced compared to other on-site restaurants. Very trippy.
