We have been going ot PV for years and have always gone to Victors. It is always a good time and great food. They will treat you as family and you will come away full on good food and many laughs. This is a not to miss location!!!! Also the free tequila is a plus ......
Hi to Victor from his friend in Chicago...
Kathy
GREAT food & GREAT customer service
We were referred to this place the last night we were in PV and I am SO happy we did try it. What a GREAT night and memories, LOVE IT. The food was great and fresh and the people make you feel right at home. If you are in PV you HAVE To try this place because you don't know PV wihtout Victor's. I still can taste the food and cannot wait to go and have more dishes.
Victors in the Marina

We stayed in the Marina and had read about Victors before our trip. We decided to try Victors and went for brunch. We all had a breakfast meal and it was delicious. Prices have gone up since most of the other reviews were written but they were still resonable. The margaritas, which were absolutely delicious, are 40 pesos or 4 USD. You also get a free shot of tequilla with that! Then you get an after dinner shot of Kahlua on ice. Delicious! There also is seating inside besides the outside under umbrellas. We enjoyed it so much we went back for dinner. My son was happy because he could order pancakes any time of day. I saw a lot of people getting the coconut shrimp, $19, and on the high side for Victors, but it looked delicious so I ordered it. It was great! We spent $56.00 for dinner for the four of us and two of us had drinks. They also brought our children small bowls of ice cream at the end of each meal.
My family loved this place and would have been happy there for every meal!

Wow, the food was fantastic and the alcohol flowed freely! When the four of us got to Victor's we all ordered a Carona, and Victor came out with shots of alcohol for everyone and did them with us! He must have a liver of steel. Every time you order a drink you get a free shot of Tequila. Margaritas were the best in all of PVR. We were so drunk after two hours at Victor's we could barely walk home!
Victor's Place / Tacuba

I'm not one to stay couped up in a hotel and hotel eateries so when I was looking up reviews for dining locales in PV I came across Victors (Cafe Tacuba) on several different sites. Tonight, my wife and I took the short walk from our hotel in the Marina Zone and weren't disappointed.
Everything I read (with the exception of the prices which seemed to have gone up) was spot on. Victor is a wonderful host and he greeted us personally several times throughout our dinner.
The food, Mahi-mahi in a lobster shrimp sauce and a large chicken burrito were delicious at about 130 Pesos each. The drinks still very cheap (15 pesos for a beer and 40 for a margarita) were delicious as well!
The atmosphere is friendly and even though we had already received the complimentary shots of tequila (a tradition at Victor's) once Victor found out it was our honeymoon we were given a large khalua and baileys on the house!
There was even live music taking requests! If you are in the area, stop in to Victor's for meals all day. You won't be disappointed!
