The food was good. We got to watch them make tortillas. It's an open air place so we could watch all the activity on the street. They had an awesome dessert: a lemon with the fruit removed, then filled with sherbert, then frozen. I can still taste the tartness.

This is a very fun place, with great food--a nice mix. The prices are good and the atmosphere relaxed. It's a great place to stop for a meal during the day and then come back at night for some drinks.

This restaurant/bar is on the Malecon. It is especially popular with the young set. What it lacks in excellence it makes up for in atmosphere created by the blasting music, improvised stage shows, and eye-popping color scheme. The menu offers a little of everything, including barbeque ribs, fish and seafood dishes. Quiet by day, wild by night, leaning toward scandalous. Open noon to 2am.

We always have a really nice time at this place. It has a great view of the Bay of Banderas from the upstairs dining area. My husband ordered the queso cilantro, which is a big hunk of cheese immersed in cilantro sauce. Ohmigod, it was so delicious! I had fettuccine Alfredo, which was fine, but not the best I have ever had. I wish I had ordered the queso cilantro. My mother ordered chicken and ribs, and she loved hers. The bill for four of us (no alcohol) came to approximately US$40.

The music was loud, which was fine for us, but be warned if that is a problem for you. There were American and Mexican sporting events being shown on the TVs, too. I will definitely return here on my next visit to P.V.
