Always eat here at least once each year. The pizzas are very good...especially outside on the patio....but you can get a personal size pizza inside also. The food and ambience of the main inside dining area are both great. I have never been disappointed!

This was our second time to visit Villa Italia, and we were not disappointed. I tried the wood-oven pizza this time, and it was great. The breadsticks are to-die-for--crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. Mom got the spaghetti and meatballs (she likes to live on the edge), my wife got the tour of Italy (huge portion), and I forget what Schmitty got, but we all were happy with the quality and quantity. I highly recommend this spot for couples, since they have booths or tables.

We go here more then once every trip. It's more of a quiet candle-lit dinner. It can be very romantic, but it's also a family place too. For dressing, you could definitely go there in casual wear. They wouldn't kick you out, but it's more of a nicer place. I would say nice shirt and bottoms would be fine.

As for the food here, that's a little difficult because everything I've had was more then delicious. I would say that, for an appetizer, our table usually likes to split one of there wood-fired pizzas – it’s usually like eight slices in a pizza. Or try one of their soups - they all are good! Also, their cheese and meat plates were something different, but everyone enjoyed it, and it was cleared off in a matter of minutes. For the main dish, I'm usually full by now, so I usually split the ravioli with my sister. I really, really suggest trying the chicken parmesan with ham as a main dish. Oh, my mouth is watering just thinking about it.

We asked around for a good Italian restaurant and were told this was one of the better ones. Now that I think about it I don't remember seeing too many Italian restaurants around town.

The food was good and the service average using the great service we get in Mazatlan as a guide. The prices were very inexpensive with most entrees less than $10. They have the best bread sticks I have eaten. They are slices of sticks cut length wise and are crispy and fresh. While I am on the subject of bread, Mazatlan has the best locally homemade breads I have had the pleasure of consuming. The dinner rolls were no exception. Fresh, soft, and lightly dusted with flour. Yummy!!We could of filled up on the bread alone!! The restaurant is right across from El Cid in the Golden Zone. Any cab or pulmania driver will know where it is. I would recommend this place to anyone and plan on eating there again next year.

We were looking for something different and happened to walk across to look at the menu. The pasta dishes sounded interesting and they had all of the usual items one would expect from a pizza\pasta place near our home. The pasta dishes more than met our expectations and the pizza from the wood burning oven was extremely delicious. If they do not have what you like, just add desired toppings. We got take-out pizza on our way home from downtown one night and ate on the terrace of our room overlooking the Pacific.
