Excellent Location - Food Not So Good

I loved the location, hugged right up to the ocean, but the food was not that great, we have gone at lest 4 times and I have yet to walk out feeling like I ate something special. Kids liked the burgers...

We had a delightful experience as we sat on the balcony watching the sun set over the Pacific whilst enjoying the finest cuisine in a delightful atmosphere. The service, food, and price were excellent!!

Jamison's By the Sea

Jameson's is a traditional favorite of Hawai`i residents on the Big Island. This restaurant offers sunset dining in a casual atmosphere with great views of the ocean overlooking the Magic Sands Beach. Jameson's specialty is seafood, and the delicious entre that we had was the Mahi Mahi sauteed with macadamia nuts. There are also steak and chicken dishes, along with a variety of salads on the menu. It is located in the Jamison's Hotel and the outside doesn't look anything like a fine dining restaurant. But once you enter you are immediately aware that it is going to be positive experience.
