McDonald's (Okay, Don't Laugh!)

When visiting Hawaii, walk into a McDonald's and get a Pineapple Pie, a local specialty. No matter where you travel, you'll find local specialties at McDonald's. Also don't forget the SPAM breakfast meal.

I know you can eat anywhere, but it seemed liked everything here tasted better. I know the Filet O' Fish sandwich was definitely better here than on the mainland. Also, they had plate lunches that featured island fare - very tasty. And the people were much nicer. If you are on a budget and don't have time to eat anywhere else, this is the place.

Favorite Menu Item: McTerry Burger!
Unique Qualities: I bet you can only get the McTerry Burger here in Hawaii and nowhere else. Once you`ve eaten it, it`s addictive! It`s basically two smaller hamburger patties on the bun. They`re marinated in terriyaki sauce, then I then there`s onions and mayo on it as well. Talk about yummy and it`s only 99 cents! :) Location: All over the islands -- if it`s not on the menu, ask for it.
