Keoki's serves seafood, steaks, American dishes, and those with a "local flair" also. Simply a wonderful place.
We LOVED this restaurant for both the food and the atmosphere. We happened upon it by accident as it is in a shopping center, but were glad we did. You enter this unique restaurant by walking over a bridge with water falls on either side that cascade into a pool at the bottom. The interior is open air (as are many of the restaurants in Hawaii). It appears to be a very large thatched bungalow, in a tropical setting of streams, pond, and vegetation, complete with tiki torches. On one side, separate from the "dining room" is a lounge/bar area; they had a very good live band when we were there for dinner. We had a table on the side that seemed as if we were on a deck over water, very romantic!
Keoki's Paradise is known for their fresh fish; but I went for the prime rib. Honestly, it was the best I ever had. The service was perfect. Our waiter didn't hover over us, but seemed to magically appear any time we needed something. I highly recommend this restaurant! They have a website with photos and menus, if you'd like to check them out: www.hulapie.com/keokis/index.html
