Denny's

Seating was a breeze but with only a handful of customers, it took a while before we were waited on. We sat on a table with a "view". Right, a view of flies on our window pane. Just then, I realized I was stepping in a huddled puddle of fallen pancakes. Though the waitress was really friendly and the food quality was awesome, they were out of a lot of produce. We never got our dinner rolls and our soup was served with our dinner. We were never offered desert. And besides the fact it took the busboy nearly 45 minutes to clean the table adjacent to ours. My advice: though the price is pretty costly, the taste is a winner! If you decide to eat there be sure to bring your own broom and dish towel.

Most don't know this but Denny's is the largest full-service family restaurant chain in the United States. The Denny's restaurant in Kona offers a casual dining atmosphere and moderately priced meals served 24 hours a day. Denny's is well known for its breakfasts served around the clock. Denny's menu also features a variety of appetizers, hamburgers, sandwiches, salads, chicken, steak and seafood entrees as well as desserts. Specialty menus for health conscious guests feature low-carb and low-fat offerings. They also offer customers age 55 and over selections at special prices and children 10 and under a specially priced menu. When you get hungry and start looking for a familiar place to eat stop in here. So if you're hungry late remember Denny’s, because it will save you the driving time looking around trying to find someplace to eat. Also, for a Denny's, this location has some of the friendliest employees and some of the best food and fastest service out there, especially when you can eat for around $10. The restaurant is on a hill so make sure and ask for a window table as you can see the ocean or you can even sit outside on the deck. Take a few quarters or a crisp dollar bill in to try and win a stuffed animal/toy out of the "claw" machine.
