This Rainforest Cafe is located in Downtown Disney. The menu is a mix of Mexican, Italian, Asian and Caribbean dishes. Menu items include quesadillas, salads, sandwiches, beef and chicken dishes. I have tried the The Plant sandwich and the coconut chicken and they were okay. Menu prices start at about $10-15 per person. The breakfast menu is very limited, eggs, breakfast pizza. Food never seems to arrive really all that hot, perhaps because it is such a large restaurant.
The attraction here is not really the food but the atmosphere. A rainforest has been recreated complete with thunderstorms, rain and jungle animals. Be sure to check out the bar stools under the big mushroom at the bar.
The Downtown Disney location is open for breakfast, at 8AM. Reservations are reccommended for dinner. Expect at least an hour wait without a reservation for dinner.
