This is a theme restaurant located in the Pier 39 tourist spot. It is right on the water, so it was great to watch boats sail by. You can even see Alcatraz from there. The theme of the restaurant is from the movie Forrest Gump. On the tables are license plates that say, "Run Forrest Run" or "Stop Forrest Stop." When you need service, you turn the license plate to "Stop Forrest Stop." We needed another place setting, so we turned the license plate. A waiter passed by our table, stopped in his tracks, and came back to our table. I couldn't believe it! The food was tasty. We started with nachos with refried beans and all the fixings. I had pasta primavera, which was good. This was very enjoyable, and I'm glad we stopped here.

We love the fun & friendly atmosphere of this place. It is based on the movie "Forest Gump". The decorations are movie based and the movie is always playing in the restaurant. The food is great and plentiful. The dress is casual and fingers are okay and HAVE to be used for the buckets of shrimp that are served in buckets with plenty of paper towels.
The best thing was the kids menu because our Sarah got to have pizza and we were grateful. Always get to take home leftovers because of the volume of food served.
