Puerto Viejo

If you walk along the Marina in Cabo San Lucas, you'll notice a restaurant that looks light a little lighthouse. That's the Puerto Viejo.

It's a quaint little cafe that serves traditional Mexican food. We usually eat breakfast there every morning. We love the quiet atmosphere right on the marina where we can watch the fishing boats go in/out, and watch the people walking by.

As with most restaurants in Mexico, the service is slower than molassess, but the waiters are friendly and will often stay and chat with you if you desire. They will also remember you, and say "hi" if you happen to walk by again later that day or the next.

The food is excellent. The coffee is great (and so are the mimosas!).

A wonderful spot to sit, relax, and start off your morning right. Or, if you go fishing and you've caught something that needs to be cooked up, you can bring it there and they'll take care of it for you. As an aside, nearly every restaurant in Cabo will do that for you.
