Go on a Friday night to get the full effect of life on Cape Cod in the summer. The lines are a bit long and there is litter on the floor but the food is excellent and the people, both tourists and natives, are friendly as they jostle each other for seats and a place in line. Try anything fried. But if you want to consider yourself a Cape Codian, eat the fried clams with bellies and the onion rings. Forget your cholestrol count! And if you have never eaten fried clams with bellies, close your eyes before you put it in your mouth, they are not attractive but oh they taste good! Chewy in texture with a golden crust and an after-taste of sea water. The onion rings are hand made and crispy with the batter falling off the onion. Wash it down with a big iced tea. Don't bother with the lobster roll. It is small, too much mayo and in a hot dog roll. Skip it and go elsewhere for real boiled lobster. This is a great place to take your kids because it is noisy, busy and if something falls on the floor it is OK.
