This is an old school DC restaurant and pretty pricey. The wine list is extensive, but the menu is not too creative. I had a 12 oz bone-in filet for $27 served with a onion and potato hash brown. The steak was cooked perfectly and they warned me that the medium rare was REALLY rare - so I got medium and it was perfect. There is no vegetarian choices so my one friend got a salad and a baked potato. There is a nice seafood selection. One friend got a pan broiled salmon and another got the special bacon wrapped scalops. My glass of Pinot Noir was $12. The desserts were $8 each and heavenly. We got a coconut cake and a chocolate cake to share. The salad choices looked more creative than the entrees. The service was very professional, but not overly attentive. It is quiet and they have private dining rooms which would make it a good choice for a larger group.
