Just got home from 2 weeks at the Inn at Mazatlan. Went to Panchos once. Meal was grill fish - a little overcooked. Service is always excellent....Price is so-so.

We went to Pancho's our first night in town, after a full day in an airplane it was so nice by the beach, and everyone was very attentive to our every need. The fried pepper poppers that came with the standard Chip & Sausa was a nice touch. I couldn't decide between steak or seafood so I had the shrimp and steak Kabobs, a great choice the shrimp were huge and juicy, the steak was perfectly done and had a great flavor. My wife had a Mexican chicken dish (I can't recall the name) that was also very good. We both were stuffed but somehow managed to find room for their famous and fun Bananas Flambe! The server who prepared it tableside took the time to explain step by step what went into it and exactly how to prepare it... I took notes and can't wait to try it here! It was a very relaxing and fun way to be welcomed to this fun city!

This is truly our FAVORITE restaurant in Mazatlan. We are here for 2 months and have already visited 4 times.
We enjoy the ocean so much, and it is right on the beach; not just your low end beach hang-out. This is a beautiful restaurant, in decor, ambience etc. Very clean and the food, drinks, etc. all well prepared and presented, and yet it is still "casual".
You can sit there either on the lower or upper level and have early dinner and watch the sun set...and perhaps catch a glimpse of a couple of cruise ships heading back out to sea too.
A place that should be on everyone's agenda!

Pancho's By The Beach Restaurant
We went to Pancho's on our first night in Mazatlan based on the recommendations we found on this website and everyone was so right. We were seated right away and given amazing chips and salsa. The menu is in English and Spanish, so you will know what you're ordering. I had the chicken molcajate that was served in a large bowl with tortillas. My husband had the Pancho's Huarache that was beautiful and delicious. I had a gigantic margarita that didn't skimp on the tequila, and at the end of the dinner they brought us complementary shots that were great. Overall a wonderful experience.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder... and at to the right hand side of diners! Characterized by the Mazatlan beach side, Panchos offers great service at reasonable prices. The two story building offers cultural cuisine at low prices with appetizers that set off the taste buds like alarms! The sunset on the horizon gives way to the light of the lighthouse in the opposite direction as the island directly out of the bay dims in the waning light. Overall, the night air is stunning and full of romance.
