Dessert!

Great cakes and other sweets. Wonderful way to end the night. If Rico's were next door it would be even better. Stopped twice for take out dessert and it is well worth every peso.

Just got back from 2 weeks in sunny Maz.
Panama desserts are definitely the way to finish your evening.

Panama's

We went to Panama's twice while we were in Mazatlan. This place is amazing, the food is cheap and delicious. We had breakfast there one morning and the place was packed with both locals and tourist. There is a bakery so they have amazing pastries and breads which make for a great breakfast. We also went there for dessert after dinner one night. I have never had better cheesecake in my life. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good meal.

The Panama has fantastic fresh desserts and great coffee. They bring a tiered cart to your table with 20 or so different desserts to choose from all fresh cut cakes, pies and others. they also have a bakery stand where you can buy take out. On another visit to the restaurant we had a very good chicken dinner and another dessert.

We finally went in far enough to eat a meal (past the pastries--ha). The food was good and the prices very reasonable. The deserts looked too good to pass up, so we didn't. The flan is awesome, and the cheesecake was excellent. Nice-size pieces for about $3. I enjoyed the guacamole, but Las Carnistas is much better. Great family place and the best prices around--just stay away from the sweets!
