We were very pleased with the food and the service at Los Arcos. The staff went out of their way to make us comfortable. They serve a number of different variations of shrimp and fish fillets. I had their Hawaiian shrimp, which was cooked in butter, pineapple, and white wine. Very yummy, and my husband had chipotle shrimp, which he loved as well. I was especially impressed when the waiter brought me a rose, and he ran to open the door for us! A guy after my own heart!

Los Arcos

The seafood at Los Arcos is some of the best we have had in a very long time. The lobster, served cut in half, is to-die-for and not expensive. Their house specialty is marlin-stuffed shrimp wrapped in bacon. It was so good that we went back a second time just to have it again. There are Los Arcos Restaurants in Culiacan (home restaurant), Mexico City, Tijuana, Los Cabos, and several other cities in Mexico, BUT all the seafood that they serve is carefully processed through their home plant in Culiacan to ensure that it is the best and is fresh. Good enough for two visits in a week!

Los Arcos is a wonderful seafood restaurant which is actually a chain you can find in other states within Mexico. It is set in a very Mexican style ambiance and it was a great experience for me one evening in Mazatlan.

Prices are very reasonable, especially for seafood, and I highly recommend the clam chowder, which was excellent. Take advantage of the coupons found on www.pacificpearl.com or www.allaboutmazatlan.com and get a free drink with your meal.

We have eaten here at least 10 times over the past four years and have never been disappointed in our meal. Los Arcos is a Mexican chain restaurant and although it is located in the Golden Zone, their clientele seems to be half local folks. What better recommendation can you have than that? The garlic shrimp is great, as well as the many fish dishes they offer. Often the menu does not specify what type of fish is used for a particular dish -- apparently they use the catch of the day -- but it's always great. The meal is usually served with mixed vegetables prepared tender crisp with a buttery flavor. We always save room for dessert. The chocolate cake is absolutely wonderful and you can have it topped off with coconut ice cream for a real treat.

I am always given a rose after each meal at Los Arcos, so I usually have a small bouquet in my room by the end of our week in Mazatlan! The restaurant offers indoor seating and a very colorful decor. Service is top notch!

Los Arcos is a family-run restaurant. There is inside dining and an enclosed outside patio area. There are no views to speak of, but the warm and inviting atmosphere and attentive waiters make up for the loss of a view.

Los Arcos serves seafood and traditional Mexican dishes. They serve a unique appetizer made of whole carmelized onions and peppers. We gave it a funny look, then tried them. Although I didn't care for the onions, I did like the peppers, which were mild unless you ate the seeded part.

Our picky teenage son absolutely loved the food here. We also enjoyed it immensely. If you have little kids, there is a swingset by the front door. If you sit in the enclosed patio, you can watch them from there.

Everything we ordered was delicious, the attention we got from the staff was excellent, the prices were very reasonable, and the atmosphere warm and inviting. We did miss the view, and there is no show there (but we're spoiled).
