Description: This does have that chain feeling...and so it well named as a factory...there is a clear production feel. I managed to eat here twice as I just got tired and happened to be near by, but the meal and service on both occasions were significantly different.
My first visit was on the Sunday of Labor Day weekend, and Vegas was crazy busy. I was also struggling to adjust to the time change, so had been up in the early hours having breakfast, and so I arrived looking for lunch just as the Cheesecake was opening up to serve lunch, with no queue for food which was good as I was starving.
I had a really lovely server, who helped me navigate the huge menu...there are just too many items. This was compounded by a separate menu of meals under 500 calories. I started off with soup - brocolli and cheese, which was tasty but a little rich, and I didn't finish the bowl. I followed up by lettuce chicken wraps, with mexican spice - these were really tasty...but were very messy to eat. It was all rounded off by cheesecake...oh how difficult to pick what flavour - went with blueberry and white chocolate. I love cheesecake...but this was a huge slab...and was rich...so there was no chance I was going to finish this. I was really surprised that the bill wasn't huge...
I knew after this experience that this wasn't a high class restaurant...but it was perfectly fine for lunch...though not a special meal.
Several weeks later I was back...and again was looking for somewhere handy for lunch...so thought it was fine the last time...I didn't feel out of place as a solo diner...so another whirl it was...
This time I decided to just order a cup of soup and a salad. I got a raspberry lemonade...which I didn't like...it just seemed very strong. The salad was uninspiring...the dressing was tasteless...there were three small croutons in it. The Lentil soup was heavy going...I can't describe it as anything else...it wasn't especially tasty. I left so much food on the plate...I wasn't impressed, it wasn't worth the price. The server this time was just okay...not overly friendly...and seemed to forget about me easily among all the other tables.
All in all...this is a chain ...so there is a sense that things should be uniform. But even a good or poor server has a huge effect on the meal. This is not somewhere for a special meal. Its just okay...its better than a lot of places, and you know you should get a reasonable meal...but it will not wow.
