Mazatlan is the best place to eat shrimp. Chili Peppers is one of my favorites. It is located right on the beach in the Hotel Zone. You can eat and watch a sunset. The saefood platter is an excellent way to try shrimp prepared several ways.

Enjoy the fresh catch of the day at Chili Peppers. We dined there on New Year's Eve and on another occasion. We had the lobster and shrimp dinner for two -- it was served over a flame on a terracotta dish and we received two lobsters and six shrimp to share, which was more than we could eat! The margarita's and "poppers" were great. Excellent "oldies" '50s and '60s music all night long.

This is a great place to go on your first night if you are staying in the area. It is within walking distance of at least seven hotels and is located on the beach. You can view the sunset from the terrace while you drink gigantic margaritas.

The food is very good and they offer you a coupon on the street for complete seafood dinner special for two: appetizer, entree, a dessert, and a free margarita. Can't go wrong with that!

Be prepared for the grandpa to come to your table and try to get you on a timeshare tour. By the way, the photos of the grandchildren have not changed in years. They must be much older now!!

We ate here and next door at Tony's. Both were right on the beach and the seafood was excellent. Tony's had a special of two lobster and 8 butterfly shrimp for 2 for only $33. Staff at both places were very friendly and service was excellent.

Very good food, reasonable prices, and an excellent location, it's right on the beach. Ask for Renee. There is another restaurant right next to it called Tony's which is also good, but the staff at Chili Peppers makes dining a memorable occasion.
