Skip the Food

Nice atmosphere. Good coffee drinks. Free wi-fi, which is nice.

In my opinion, however, the food is awful and overpriced. I paid 8 dollars for a club sandwich which was nothing but bread, ham, turkey and frozen tomatoes. When the server asked how it was I shrugged. "Something wrong?" he asked. "Where's the bacon?" I asked. So he stomped away in a little fit. But, I mean, they sold me a club sandwich without bacon.

My friend ordered a Vegetarian Quesadilla, which was just cheese, onions and spinach in a taco shell, drenched in hot sauce. $7 50.

Also they have tendency to play godawful pop ballads from the 80s.

Independent. Queer-, smoker-, boho-friendly. Serves great coffee. One of the better alternatives to a certain mega-chain, Soho is understandably popular, packed from morning to night with businessfolks, students, artists, and any combination thereof or in between. Despite the occasional customer's delusions of grandeur and fauxllectual posturing--yes, tell your neighbor that you are indeed writing the 4056th Great American Novel--the Soho crew's policy of do-as-you-please-as-long-as-no-one-gets-hurt seems to be followed fairly well. Come at any time of the day and feel the love, dahhling.

SOHO Tea & Coffee is a nice local hangout for a light snack, tea, or coffee, and offers free wi-fi for its customers. Bought some snacks, found an A/C outlet, and plugged in laptop for power and access to the Internet for a couple hours. In the gay area, though it's mainly college students.
