Description: I'm so happy I found this place! Innovative cocktails, great tapas and and nice area to relax.
I have never eaten dinner here, but I do love the small plates in the bar!
Pull up a chair, or a couch and order to your hearts content!
Cosmos used to be Martini Grill, if that helps on the location.
Try a Jibarito, which is like a mojito. Bacardi dragonberry rum, lime juice, muddled mint and passion fruit, or a Caesar, which is limoncello, campari, maraschino syrup and soda. Your taste buds will thank you.
On the best part...the food!
They have meat, seafood dessert and veggie options.
My fave being the lamb 'lollipops', grilled and served with olive feta tepenade. Grilled to perfection, these melt in your mouth.
The stuffed Medjool dates wrapped in bacon are A-MAZING! They're stuffed with feta. To die for. I don't know if they're grilled or baked, but I don't care. Just keep bringing them!
Try the fried avocado stuffed with fresh Ahi tuna slald. A refreshing and different taste. It was lightly tempura fried and was incredible.
We also love the grilled artichoke heart served with goat cheese and orange zest. The artichoke is like butter, with a little tang from the goat cheese.
You musn't forget the lamb sliders. Anything with lamb in it, is my friend. These are seasonal, as well.
The most surprising, was the anchovy bruschetta. They use only the white anchovies, which are much milder than your standard canned version. So don't be scared to try it.
I've never had a bad dish here. The gazpacho, which is seasonal, is served in a 'floating' bowl. Cool, tasty and pretty to look at.
I'm sad to say that I haven't had a chance to try everything....YET. But give me sometime and I will!
It's a bit of a different place to meet and relax after a long day. Not your typical 'joint' that serves chips and salsa. Although they do have their own version...bread and dips, which is grilled flatbread with hummus and an olive tepenade.
The prices for happy hour tapas is between 5 and 11 dollars for each plate. Not cheap, but absolutely worth it.
Try something different and drive down Central. You'll be so happy you did! SWEAR!
