Bamboo Bamboo -- it’s a nice restaurant in the same area as Neide's Salsa & Samba. We ate out on the porch under the beautiful sky. No real view other than the town center but that was ok -- the cats were more than enough entertainment.

Kauai actually has a cat population problem -- they are everywhere. Being a cat lover myself, I found it quite enchanting seeing cats everywhere. And it’s obvious, at least in Hanalei, that the people like them as well because there is food left out for them all over and the cats just seem to own everything. And because I was missing my own cats by this point, they were a welcome sight. Of course, I took care not to feed them from the table, but others weren't quite so strong.

Back to the restaurant . . . The food was a little on the expensive side, but not bad for Hawaii. It was good and the menu offered a nice variety. I'd go back again for both the food and the company. :-)
