Excellent selection of fresh seafood and incredible steaks. Great early-bird special has six dinner selections with salad and fresh-baked rolls for $13.95. Save room for dessert!

Our first night on Hilton Head, we were looking for a place that served good seafood. Fitzgerald's was a recommendation we took from this website. We weren't sorry we did! It was a little difficult to find, but most places are difficult to find, especially at night! The Fitzgerald's Seafood Combination was a combination of shrimp, scallops, and fresh seasonal fish (in our case, tilipia). We chose this broiled, but it is also served deep-fried. The $15.95 price was a bargain and included homemade dinner rolls, fresh vegetable, and choice of chunky applesauce or graden fresh salad. They were also serving a live Maine whole lobster as the evening special for the same price and included the same options with the dinner. It was a quiet, relaxing evening with good food. We topped off the meal by sharing a Southern Sweet Potato Pecan Pie. I wouldn't say it was the best restaurant we ate at on Hilton Head, but it was very good.

The food was delicious and served creatively. I had asparagas and hollandaise sauce served over grilled chicken breast, while my husband had New York Strip Steak. We started our meal with French Onion Soup, which was made with real beef stock. The tables were set with cloths and linen napkins and candlelite. Service was excellent.

Fitzgeralds was recomended by a local and we were glad we took his advice. Reservations are recommended but not necessary. We had reservations for 6pm, the dining room was filled by 7pm. This resturant is moderate to expensive and offers a reasonable priced childrens menu.

The food was very good and the chef seems to be creative in his presentation. Fitzgerald's was recomended by a local and we were not sorry. The prices are moderate to expensive and they offer a child's menu at very reasonable prices.

The helpful manager at the Marriot recommended this restaurant as being perhaps the best dining on the Island for the money. It gets my vote as being a great place to eat for the money.

My wife had a 1 and 1/4 pound lobster for only $13.95. We sampled the swordfish at only $16.95, and I had the seafood combination for $15.95. The salads were crisp, but the blue cheese dressing could have been improved. The bread was freshly baked and the vegetables were nicely done. It would have been easy to spend over $80.00 for this meal in any good restaurant, but our total after everything, to including a wonderful dessert, was under $60.00 including the tip.

The chef is a culinary arts school graduate and the staff was very attentive in spite of a full house. The location is in a beautiful place by the beach. There is a fountain located near the picture windows that extend around the sides of the restaurant. The restaurant boasts a wonderful bar and can serve just about anything requested. The management was evident and very involved with the clientele.

It was a very positive dining experience. Many of the diners were locals and they seemed to be repeat customers.
