This is a lovely little place to stop in for a snack or a light meal.

First and foremost, there is air-conditioned seating! Mind you, there was not a lot, but we went just before the start of the heavy season near meal time, and there was plenty of seating available.

And now the food…

This is a great place for families with children looking for a light meal. The serve premade sandwiches, even "crustables," fruit , drinks, and some wonderful-looking desserts that, had I not been allergic to milk, would have dove right into. It is rather pricey ($2.50 for a "crustable"), but you are in Magic Kingdom, so what do you expect?

The decor is also great. The seating area is in the back of the glassmaker’s shop on Main Street. Food and drink are allowed in the shop, so if you’re so inclined, you can wander around and look at the lovely glass art, including a huge Cinderella’s castle that is way too expensive to be going on about.

When you walk into this magnificent bakery, you will be overwhelmed! Between the decadent cupcakes, fresh Nestle Tollhouse cookies, miniature cherry pies, and the delightful aroma of coffee, you won't know what in the world that you want to order. Every baked good is quite good (in my opinion)! My personal favorite is their huge moist vanilla cupcake with delicious white frosting and pastel Mickey head sprinkles. It is to die for.

Tip: Because the Main Street Bake Shop is sponsored by Nestle, the cookies are the same ones you can by in the grocery store. While they do taste good, I would recommend trying a baked good that you cannot have anytime!

While the food is delicious, the atmosphere can feel a bit cramped if crowded due to the fact that the seating area is located behind a crystal shop. Overall, on your way down Main Street U.S.A the Main Street Bake Shop is the place to grab a great snack and relax!

*If you like the Main Street Bake Shop in every Walt Disney World park (excluding the water parks) there is a Nestle sponsored bakery. *

A great place to stop for a quick bite. They have good sandwiches and great sweet treats! There are good specialty coffees and other drinks if you just want to stop for a quick break.

The Main Street Bake Shop is practically irresistible! If you're trying to avoid dessert, you'd best walk down the other side of Main Street. The smell of Nestle Toll House cookies blows right out of a vent on the outside, drawing folks in by the nose. Though there are some selections that I would call "legitimate meals," chances are you won't even notice that once you get an eyeful of desserts. They have everything! I went in there on the way out one night for a cookie and nearly didn't believe what I was seeing. The glass-front counter in back shields gigantic cheesecakes, pies, cakes, muffins, cookies, and pastries from the salivating customers while servers carve up huge chunks of these confections. The wedges of chocolate cake alone could have killed someone if they'd fallen out of the sky fast enough, they were so huge. Thank heavens I managed to maintain willpower long enough to make it out of there with only a cookie. The cookie ran me about $1.50, but it was bigger than my hand so I didn't mind. It kept me busy all the way to the boat.

I'm sure that this place is busy all day long, but it is a MADHOUSE at closing time. Everyone has to filter past on the way back to the gate, and more than a few guests waft in all at once on the cookie-scented breeze. There is a brass rail that starts at the door and keeps everyone solidly in the queue so that no one trips over the folks at the tables. Tables are, of course, at a premium at that late hour. If you are a dessert junkie, I highly recommend that you feed your addiction at the Main Street Bake Shop. Your tastebuds will thank you. Of course, if you want to do something silly like actually eat lunch, there are also sandwiches and fresh breads on the menu. This is a great place to stop in for your morning coffee and a pastry as you enter the park.
