The service was friendly, helpful, and exceptional.

The menu was a choice of Chinese and Japanese, presented with an artistic flare. They gave us a Chinese appetizer before we ordered our meals. Most of the food was prepared in an open kitchen in front of you, so it was very fresh and very tasty! The dessert was deep-fried ice cream and other oriental choices. At the end of the meal, they brought out a fabulous drink -- what a way to end an exceptional meal!

We stayed at the Sun Palace, but made reservations for Golondrina's at Cancun Palace. It is by reservation only and is a quaint place. The waiters are very helpful and friendly. The food was excellent. They had a wide variety including seafood, poultry, and beef. The food comes nicely arranged on the plates! The tortilla soup was excellent! It was very quiet and we were able to have a nice romantic dinner! Definitely worth the bus ride to get there (only about 7 minutes)! Be sure and make your reservations early (like days in advance). We waited until Thursday to make a reservation for Friday and the only one left was at 10pm Friday night!

Buffet was the only way in Cancun at the Moon Palace. The resort was kind enough to let you dine at one of the many other Palace resorts in Cancun. It's not even worth it -- all the food is the same. Just be prepared for all the chips and salsa that you could ever want.

This is an all inclusive dinning, you can eat all day long experiencing all the ethnic food, even Suschi. You can choose your steak and they will cook it over the BBQ for you as you like it.
