Great Dinner Fun

We arrived at Buffett's right as the dinner rush was starting and immediately you could tell that this was going to be a fun place. Giant erupting volcano, big projection screens, live music, and just about all the Buffett you can handle. Great interactive fun for the kids, dancing, and AWESOME servers. There was a guy walking around with a cart that said "fresh guacamole" and he made guac for you right at your table. The talented servers would carry beers and other drinks on their heads. We were treated to a striptease show by a guy in a giant shark costume, which was hilarious! Food was great, margaritas were awesome, and the atmosphere was good as well.

Two complaints: annoying shot girls in hula skirts coming around just about every 15 minutes forcing shots of pucker down your throat... and THEN asking for three dollars a pop. and if that wasn't awkward enough, they ask for a tip too. also, the restrooms' cleanliness was baaad.

Whether you are a Jimmy Buffett fan or not, I would fully recommend Margaritaville the next time you are in Cancun!

Awesome food and the best music... JIMMY BUFFET. Plenty of friendly staff members to help and is just down from Coco Bongo. Great Club. A must-see in Cancun!

Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville

GREAT PLACE to go and have fun. There's TV screens everywhere playing Jimmy Buffett music and scenes from concerts and road trips. I'm not a huge Buffett fan and I had a blast. The inside is very fun and festive. The waiters make ballon animals and hats for the kids and adults alike. They also get up on stage and do dances - sometimes pulling guests up there with them. For Cheeseburger in Paradise, they dress up like the parts of the cheeseburger (lettuce, bun, burger, etc.) and dance around. It's a ball. The food was excellent, the service was even better.

Everyone, kids and adults, were thoroughly entertained. We had our picture taken with the big mexican hats and mexican blankets in front of a huge margarita with some kind of green mix spilling into it all night. We would definitely go back. Of course, the margaritas are great too! At later hours they have the usual optional $25 US cover charge for all you can drink all night. So after hours it's great for the singles or couples scene.
