Amazing

We opted for the night sail and it was truly one of the most memorable nights ever!

There is nothing like smooth sailing underneath a star lit sky, open bar and live music via an awesome saxophone player to make even the most romantically challenged of people, swoon...not to mention the courteous and professional staff which offered us blankets to keep us warm while sailing underneath that beautiful sky.

The only draw back that night was that they forgot to serve butter with the lobster....which lead to a happily drunken chorus of ephoric drunken couples, screaming butter, butter, butter!!!! It was Hysterical!

Romantic Experience

Last month my boyfriend gave me one of the most romantic experiences of my whole life. We went to the Lovers Cruise tour in Cancun, a delicious lobster dinner on a boat at the lagoon! The starry sky was awesome, I think I have never seen so many stars in my whole life and seemed like the moon was also part of that perfect night. There was also a guy playing the sax, smooth notes, totally touching. Finally, the dinner with candlelight’s! Couldn’t have been better than that!

My boyfriend and I arrived in Mexico on Sunday and were told we didn't have any transportation there. So the hotel called the company and set up transportation with them. On Wednesday we left the beach early to get ready for our "big night" and arrived in the hotel lobby at 2:45pm. They were supposed to arrive at 3pm but we didn't want to take the chance on missing them. We checked in with the bellmen and told them they were supposed to be there at 3pm. We waited and waited and waited. When the hotel called the company to find out where they were they said they had been there at 3:05pm and waited outside the hotel lobby for 10 minutes leaving a note with the bellman, they were sorry there was nothing they could do. The bellman we talked to said no one had been there otherwise all of us would have seen them and the name they supposedly left a note with the bellmen had no idea who that was. The company refused to give us a refund because of the timeline. I would of cancelled when we arrived but the company assured us they would send a driver. Wouldn't suggest it!

Mislead

The website made the cruise sound so inviting. Then we got the reality, The dinner was good, but I thought I was mislead about the "romantic" part, It was an extremely small little cabin that they cram everyone in, and so it is a sauna in there, and they sit you with another couple who, of course, are strangers, how in the world is that romantic? Also the boat leaked, and you could'nt hear the saxaphone player unless you were outside, I don't think the price was anywhere close to what it should have been worth. I was quite disapointed since I was trying to give my wife a last romantic night in Cancun, it was no where close, except for the meal, it was a bust.

We went on the 3-hour sunset cruise from 5 to 8pm. There was a cruise that went out after that as well. The boat was a beautiful wooden ship called the Columbus, which was patterned after the three ships Columbus sailed over to America. The host was very entertaining. We were surprised by a saxophone musician who played very romantic music. The meal was US$90 for a couple, which included drinks, entertainment, and dinner. We had to choose from lobster, steak, or a combination of both. It was the best dinner of the trip.
