Cancun Palace
Unfortunately, we weren't able to dine at this restaurant. We weren't informed that gentlemen needed to bring slacks and a collared shirt. I think this would have been a great place to eat. The rest of the restaurants were average. I would say that was the only downfall to the Cancun Palace. There were only three areas for eating, one of which we couldn't access. More variety would be needed.

The Cancun Palace's all-inclusive plan is great, with several choices available. The tiki-hut buffet is open for all three meals, with a huge variety of items. You can actually eat healthy meals on vacation. They have traditional heavier Mexican dishes, but also plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables, fresh juices, granola, yogurt, and of course desserts. They have a cooked-to-order grill with specialty dishes. Inside the hotel are a couple of restaurants, one with a dress code which we didn't partake of, and the other with menu-ordered dishes and a different sort of salad bar, not your usual lettuce-and-tomato type of salad, but more exotic fare. We pretty much stuck with the buffet and loved it. There is also a late-afternoon snack-style buffet in the hotel lobby.
