Fiesta del Burro Loco

We dined here on our first night, and it was great. It had a wonderful atmosphere; the inside looked almost like a shack with a tin roof, and it had interesting things bolted to the wall as well.

It was very busy, so I recommend calling in advance. There were 10 of us eating, but we did call-ahead seating, so our wait time was only 20 to 30 minutes.

The food was reasonable for being in a tourist town. I paid $30 for two to eat, and that includes everything from the appetizers to the tip. The food was also very good, and I'm not a big fan of Mexican food.

There was a birthday party there and the staff sang a version of the birthday song and the birthday person rode around on a toy.

The Burro Loco is partners with the Carolina Roadhouse, so when you dine with one you get a coupon for the other.

Everyone should experince the Burro Loco.

We never had dinner here, we just went for happy hour (4-7). There is lots to look at in this restaurant, 45 foot mural of a bull fight, Elvis mural, and many authentic artifacts of Mexico. They have hand squeezed lime margaritas for $11.50 a pitcher, (very good) and free hotwings for happy hour. They also have $2.00, 10 inch pizzas from Labor Day until Memorial Day. We ordered 2 pizzas, one chicken one spinich and the 4 of us were stuffed. We also tried the chicken nachos-I've had better.
