I was out wandering around looking for somewhere to eat and I happened to notice a fair amount of activity surrounding a restaurant just up the street.

The place was bustling. They had valet service, which seemed to be working non-stop. I walked up to the front door and was immediately greeted.

I asked for and was lucky enough to get a seat on the patio (likely only because it was overcast). The place was fairly crowded and I imagine you would normally require a reservation. If the place was this busy mid-week, it would most certainly be busy on more traditional nights out.

The service was incredible. The staff was all incredibly polite and prompt. The food was really quite good. It is a steakhouse, but I decided to get the almond encrusted salmon and it was near perfect. The steak that I saw going around look beautiful, I just didn't feel like such a heavy meal.

D.C. has a lot of steakhouses, but this must be one of the best. Don't go with a small appetite though.
