Traditional Mexican/Tex-Mex. La Escondido is located in a strip mall just south of the intersection of FM 1092 and hwy 90A in Stafford. The atmosphere is very quiet and relaxed with a ovely mexican decor, tile floors, stucco walls and a fountain in one of the dining rooms. Complimentary chips, salsa and bean dip are brought to your table as soon as you sit down. Fresh guacamole made at your table, excellent fajitas (try the vegetable fajitas for a change) great margaritas, and great mole enchiladas. The service is great and the prices are very reasonable. They are closed on Mondays.
