Fajita Flats offers excellent Tex-mex cuisine. It is located in a strip mall at the intersection of FM1092 and the sw freeway. The atmosphere is best described as a bar. It is fairly dark with a big screen TV and the jukebox is usually playing. The beer is cold and the margaritas large. They provide chips and salsa and spicy vegetable soup as soon as you sit down. Their combo fajitas (beef, chicken and shrimp) are brought to the table sizzling and served with all the sides you can want. Also recommeded are the mesquite grilled chicken and broccoli con queso. If you go on your birthday, they will put a huge staw hat on your head, sing a loud birthday song, and bring you a complimentary dessert. The service is excellent, the staff is friendly, the food is good and the price is right.
