During one night of our trip, we visited the Alabama Grill. This restaurant is located in the Opry Mill Mall, so it is in a good location and has plenty of other things around it. The interior of the restaurant is full of guitars, album covers, and other country-music items. It was really neat just walking around and looking at all the things on the wall. Country music also played the entire time. We did not have to wait for a table and were seated pretty shortly after arriving.

The menu was not so great. There just wasn’t much to offer. Also, the service was pretty slow after we got our table. It was an okay experience, but nothing I would go running back to anytime soon. The place was not very crowded, and I think this is why.

The restaurant is filled with memorabilia from famous country singers from all over the world and, of course, Alabama. The food is great and the atmosphere is even better! You have to eat here for one of your meals just for the experience.

Right after you’re seated, you begin to scan the room and you see a country music fan's greatest collection of memorabilia, next to the actual Country Music Hall of Fame. The have everything from gold records to clothing and signed pictures on the wall. For a restaurant that makes you feel good, gives you something to look at, and great food, this place is top notch! Even if all you do is have a quick snack or a drink, you have to at least walk in and check this place out!

The booths are very large, as is the restaurant. It is filled with country music singers memorabilia. Music videos are continuously playing. You are free to roam around and enjoy the photos, etc. of your favorite singers.

The food selections were mostly Southern and there was chicken, ribs, etc., as well as a veggie plate. All the meat entrees were excellent, but the veggies were not seasoned very well. I ordered turnip greens, but they tasted more like sauerkraut, but maybe that's the way Southern turnip greens are supposed to taste? How would I know? There was sweet tea in abundance and the service was great. It was fun.

the walls are covered with memorabilia from today's country music stars. Some exhibits are quite extensive, displaying posters, clothing, pictures, gold records, etc. The exhibits are the best thing about the restaurant.

The food left something to be desired. My steak was overcooked and by the time the waiter returned to ask about our meal, it was much too late to have it redone. It seems that they could hire a competent cook for the prices they charge.

For this event we did have reservations because it was a large group. Members of the Toby Keith Fan Club got together for an online dinner. The restaurant set up the most awesome buffet. Complete with salad, rolls, several delectible desserts. The main course was grilled chicken breast, BBQ ribs, assorted vegetables and of course the garlic mashed potatoes and macarroni and cheese. I would eat there just for that.
