We went for lunch and the waitress was good, but that was all.

The food was les than mediocre. It is the worst arranged buffet I have ever eaten at! Period! I use a cane, but can't when getting my food. I had to wait 15 minutes in the salad line to get to the carving tables. What a waste of time for what I got. The only beef was flank steak and was so tough it was like eating a car tire and I could not eat it. The turkey was tasteless. I went back for some ribs and salmon, this time cutting in line, and the carver was obnoxious. He told a Vietnamese gentleman, that also cut in next to me, to go the front of the line, and when he did not, the server walked away. We waited and waited for another carver to come back, and several minutes later he did, but making rude remarks. The ribs were not even OK and the smoked salmon was like shoe leather. Again a waste of time for the pain, but no gain!

I was expecting wonders when we went to the Bellagio Buffet from all of the hoop-la, but left wondering if we had gone to the right place. Extremely over rated, poor selection, far too costly for what you get and the layout is phenomenally poor.

Salad bars are usually on their own island, but not here! It is as if they want you to get your salad and hot food all at the same time, cutting down on how much you can take.

Be forewarned! If you have the same experience, you were told!

I would never go back even if the price was a normal buffet price. I did eat a worse buffet once, the Imperial palace 20 years ago.

Don't waste your money. But then again maybe dinner is better?

Buffet at Bellagio

The buffet at the Bellagio boasts more exotic, higher end selections. It had a wide variety of culinary styles to offer from Asian to Italian - all of which were hot and relatively tasty. The selection of desserts was more impressive than their entrées.

If you're a seafood lover, you could certainly get your fill having plate after plate of crab legs. That being said, the seating was a little cramped and our dirty dishes weren't removed from the table very efficiently.

Although we had heard great things about this Buffet, and we had a pretty good experience, I would rather try somewhere else next time instead of coming back to the buffet at Bellagio.

Buffet at Bellagio

The Buffet at the Bellagio is amazing! Plan your visit ahead of time since there is often a line-up at mean times.
Buffets are popular at most Las Vegas Casinos; however the Bellagio Buffet is outstanding. It is several notches above all the others. The food choice is enormous. For those that have difficulty in making up their mid, this is a bad place to be!

The food is top quality for a buffet. You can tell by looking at he food that freshness and cleanliness are a top priority.
The meats, cheeses, pastas, vegetables, Mexican food, seafood, desserts and vegetable / salads bars are abundant. There is a wide variety of international foods.

The buffet is a little more expensive than at other hotels in Las Vegas, however it is well worth the experience. It is one price for adults and one price for children. You pay on entry. You walk around and choose your own food from the various food bars. Waiters and waitresses take your order for drinks. A tip is appreciated for the table waiting staff. Busboys continually remove items no longer needed from the table. Highly recommended!

The Bellagio Buffet is supposedly "the best" in town. While I'll admit that it is a big, very nice buffet, it isn't the best buffet I've ever been to. It's overpriced and doesn't have as good as food as the buffet in the Paris Hotel.

Good things about it: It's huge, and has a lot of seating. However, get there early for meals, as EVERYONE and their brother tries to eat there. Service is fantastic and they do have a good variety of food.

For $35 it is a good deal if you can put away two full plates or more. Prime rib, crab legs, chicken cordon bleu, breaded beef, riblets, cocktail shrimp, ice cream, various cakes and pies, brownies and much more. I figure a plate of prime rib costs between $20-30. So as I put away my sixth, life was good.
