My favorite place for a hot mug is Cafe de la Lune, just a few steps down from Second Slice on Douglas at Pandora. As well as beverages, they sell fresh baked goods and deli-style entrees, all of which are worth sampling (particularly their wraps and the apple streusel muffin). Take your drink upstairs to the loft for some people-watching or mingling with the locals (NOTE: The streetcorner directly below the loft is the neighborhood crackpoint, so you'll see an unusual amount of plastered individuals from your position - don't be alarmed).
